Sarah Sue is 6 months Old ~ Fun Weekend!

I can't believe Sarah is 6 months old! She
is such a good baby. She loves her carrots!
So happy!
The cutest thing ever!
The weekend started with Isaac's football game.
All of his games are pretty much quite the
distance away but we love going. He practices
2 hours a day but now that school is in it is
just Tues, Wed, and Thurs. He works so
hard, he's even lost weight!
He is an "X" men! (I'm learning a lot!)
Chelsea said, "Isn't Covington the
coolest last name ever!"
Keat watching the game and eating dried
peaches. He has decided that he wants to
play next year.
Little Sarah and her Mom!
Her G'pa Brad holding her.
Little sweaty Ike! Isn't he cute?
After the game we met for lunch. After
lunch Cort and Rodger came over. Big
mistake on their part. I slowly got them
down in the basement to show them my
new purchase off of KSL and possibly
Rodger felt obligated to put together
my new crib for grandkids!
I found out through the grapevine that Cort
was laughing at me buying a crib but when Joey
is out of town Chelsea stays with us. She threatned
to stop spending the night and having Sarah
sleep inbetween us, unless I bought a crib.
I told Cort that when she has kids I'll have
a place for hers also. She kind of got it.
Cort was kind enough to share her "Pooh
Friends" with Sarah.
Rodger always figures out how to do anything.
He is such a good sport, even if he doesn't want
to do it.
I was trying to be helpful in holding up
a board??? And I guess I needed my
glasses on to that?
Chelsea is pretty happy. I'll have to get another
picture of it all done but I have yet to buy the
cute stuff for the inside, well I do have the
mattress and sheets.
Well after that everyone was starving so I
made Tacos and then they started to play
cards. At that point Dave and Ashley
joined us.
Sarah and I were tired. Notice her arms,
that's the way she sleeps, so cute!
Just hangin with Rodg!
and her Mom. (Cute pictures of Chels!)
Every weekend when Chels comes to spend
the night, she makes me buy double stuffed
Oreo's. This is their little bedtime snack.
Of course I have to have a ton of milk!
I believe her Mom was still eating while Sarah
was patiently waiting! Notice the beautiful quilt
that her Great Aunt LeAnne made her!
Sunday morning story time!
Sunday morning bath time with her
Rubber Duckies!
After her bath she went down for her nap.
(I didn't have the mattress yet so she was
in the den). When Annie hears here she is
very concerned that we aren't getting her!
Well by the time we went in she had fallen
back to sleep again.
Well that didn't last for long because Annie
had to start curling up beside her.
This is Sunday dinner. We celebrated Cortney
and Ashley's birthday!
Dave and Ashley and cute Ava. She had her
face painted as a Princess!
Cute Caroline as Batman!
Ava wanted to take a picture of her Dad.
After we all had dinner we went downstairs
to play a game and open presents. As you can
see Angela and the twins and Brad joined us for
the evening. It was nice to have everyone to
celebrate Ash and Cort's birthdays!
Angela and Brad gave the girls their
gifts on Sunday. The girls loved them!
I believe we were playing the game at this point.
Ash opening her gifts. This was a plaque for
Halloween that her Dad gave her. Angela gave
Ashley the cutest boots and a swim suit. They
were spoiled.
Cortney's cute Halloween decoration.
Explaining the purses they gave them. They
are interchangeable. Pretty sweet!
Little Ava again!
Cortney reading the girls Halloween books!
Lindsey joining them. They love their little sisters!
This was actually on Tuesday, Cort's birthday.
My presents to Cort.
Love the picture of Rodger!
We went to Cort's house to watch her open
her gifts from Rodger. She loves games so that
started off the gifts. He spoiled her and you
can read about what she got on her blog.
So cute!
Each of my weekends are pretty much as sweet
as this one.
I love my kids. We have fun!

Happy Birthday Cortney!

September 14, 2010
Happy 23rd Birthday!

We were together all weekend long because we
celebrated her and Ashley's birthday, and do you
think I got one single picture of Cort? No, but she
and Rodger are inseparable and that's one of the
things that makes her so cute! This is
a picture of them at Rachel (Rodger's step-
sister's) wedding. Thinking back on all of my kids I would have to
say that probably Cortney was my most difficult,
when she was young. She was a perfectionist and
had to have everything just right. No getting around
it! Her socks had to be in perfect scrunches! Her
hair, either when I did it in a pony tail or half up,
could not have one little bump. She would cry when
it was perfectly smooth and I would ask her where
the bump was and she would take her hands
and pull on it, saying, "right here!"so I'd really have to
start all over again! That comes as a surprise to most
because of how quite she is. I think she got it all out
when she was young because she is pretty
much perfect now!
Cortney started going back to school this semester.
She is such a good student. She is constantly working
on her homework and plans to continue through the
summer so she can graduate sooner.
I look at Cortney and she is getting more beautiful
everyday. One of my favorite things I've
always loved about her is her hair. What makes
her even more beautiful is whats inside. She is
always so caring and helpful with everyone!

In my phone she put her name as "Princess".
She is indeed! Love you Cort! Hope you have
a wonderful day!

Happy 12th Birthday Keaton!

I am way late on posting this for Keat's birthday.
This year I wanted to start a tradition with the
boys that they can pick what they want
to do around their birthday. (Isaac picked Boondocks) Keat wasn't sure so I suggested a hike and a picnic. He liked the idea. We stopped at Subway and headed up to "Elephant Rock". Well I didn't know it was a long hike so we didn't make it all the way up.

You can't tell in the picture but this was absolutely beautiful. We both said how in 15 minutes you can be down in the busy town and then up on a place like this!

This was one of the views of Bountiful. He is the honestly the sweetest boy ever. He wants to be a Chef when he grows up. He loves to help in the kitchen. The other night he went to a class with me, on how to make make bread. A couple of days ago I was at his house and I got him started and he had to finish it by himself. Well he did everything right except he decided to add a heaping teaspoon of salt instead of 1 1/2 tsp so he said it tasted like a bun with a lot of salt! We'll do
it again. We'll finish our hike again also. I love you Keat!

Some other pictures. . . . Jack and Kev stopped by one Sunday to visit. "Nothing that a big bosom can't do!", is put Sarah to sleep. The best Great Aunt ever! And Uncle!

Sleeping beauty!

Isn't she adorable?!

One of her first times eating.

So cute!
